The Licari family and their husky by a wooden fence, with the Colorado mountains behind them

Vince · Jinah · Liliana · Amiella · Teo · Jaden

We’re the Licaris.

We’ve served with Youth With A Mission for more than 25 years, most of them in Switzerland, where our four kids grew up speaking three languages. Today we lead YWAM Château, training young adults to know God and to serve wherever he sends them.

A little about us

  • Vince taking a selfie with a group of students on a hilltop at sunset Our work

We direct YWAM Château, a young base with discipleship and Bible schools for young adults, many of them Korean.

  • Students and staff around a long dinner table, smiling and waving at the camera Our home

Students and staff are at our table most weeks. A lot of the real teaching happens over dinner.

  • Liliana, Amiella, Teo and Jaden arm in arm, with red rocks and mountains in Colorado Springs behind them Our family

Liliana, Amiella, Teo and Jaden grew up in a house that was always full of people from somewhere else.

Where we serve

YWAM Château

YWAM Château is a new Youth With A Mission base for young adults. Its schools, a Discipleship Training School, a Bible school and a School of Pioneering Leadership, are registered with the University of the Nations, where Vince also serves.

Much of our work points toward OneKorea: preparing young leaders to serve when North and South Korea open to each other. For now the schools run between Colorado Springs, Korea and Switzerland while we raise funds for a permanent home, a château in France.

How to stand with us

We don’t do this alone.

Like every YWAM missionary, we’re volunteers and don’t receive a salary. Friends, families and churches who believe in this work carry us with their prayers and giving.

Thank you for your faith in us, your prayers and your partnership.
